President        Paul Wetzel, M.Ed., is an experienced classroom teacher and the President of Wetzel Services. He has been working with foreign business leaders since 1996. Paul received his Masters in Education from Clemson University in 1991, where he researched methods of teaching English as a Second Language. Paul@wetzelservices.com

Vice President        Valerie Wetzel joined Wetzel Services in 2002 with over 14 years experience in manufacturing, human resources, training, quality assurance, customer service, and supply management in the textile industry. Valerie graduated from the Georgia Institute of Technology in 1987 with a degree in Industrial Management.  Valerie@wetzelservices.com

Relocation Director        Tracy Smoak received a BA in German Language and Secondary Education from the Clemson University in 1993. During her studies she also received a Certificate of International Study from the University of Trier in Germany. After teaching High School, Tracy joined Wetzel Services in 1999 as the English Language Director. Her experience working with international clients led Tracy to her current role as the Relocation Director. Tracy@wetzelservices.com  

Language Training Director        Erin Maughon has a BA in Spanish and a Certification in Latin American Studies from Wofford College. During her undergraduate studies, she taught English as a Second Language in La Plata, Argentina. Erin joined Wetzel in 2003 with experience in manufacturing, human resources, and sales. She recently completed her Master of Arts in Teaching Spanish at Winthrop University.    Erin@wetzelservices.com 

Language Program Director        Rebecca Strickler has a BA in English Language and Literature with a minor in Ancient Languages. While in her undergraduate program Rebecca studied Spanish, Koine Greek, and Classical Hebrew. Her Master's degree, from the University of South Carolina, is in Linguistics, with concentrations in Second Language Acquisition and Sociolinguistics. She also holds a graduate certificate in Teaching English as a Second Language. Rebecca's teaching background began in China where she taught English as a Second Language in Shanghai. Before becoming a Language Director, Rebecca taught English and Spanish for Wetzel  Services.Rebecca@wetzelservices.com   

                                                     

Our Instructors       Wetzel has over 20 full and part-time language instructors. Many have lived or taught in other countries - Germany, France, Japan, Italy, Mexico, and China, to name a few. Most are fluent in at least one foreign language. Some hold advanced degrees in the field of language science or education. All are skilled, qualified, experienced teachers with a passion for language - and for people.
